The jquery slider is seo friendly allowing Google to read and index it's content.  We integrated slider controls directly into the CMS. This allows Gearshop to run unlimited promotions as required.

We developed a fusion of two DPS modules PX PAY and PX POST to allow Gearshop to store encrypted tokens of the users Credit card.  This allows Gearshop's users to bypass the standard credit card forms making it very easy to complete future orders.

Track and trace integration with Courier Post.

We integrated a thermal ticketing system between Gearshop and Courier Post. This allows Gearshop to print orders via a thermal ticket, and get instant tracking numbers immediately after order placement.

What is Gearshop.co.nz?
Gearshop is a 100% NZ owned website operated by Altitude Outdoor, offering an extensive range of specialist outdoor equipment for anyone from the serious outdoor adventurer to the complete beginner.

How did we help Gearshop?
Gearshop had a website long before we met the owners, and now they were ready to take it to the next level.  Hamish approached Eazyshop because he had worked with us in the past to develop what has now become one of NZ's most popular daily deal websites Daysale. Hamish was looking for unique branding, creative high quality design, and a technology solution that could help him sell his comprehensive range of Outdoor equipment.

We developed a system that allows Gearshop more control over the home page USP elements, Advanced product filtering, Intelligent use of Jquery, Wishlists, Smart customer account pages, and strategically placed social networking elements helped to form this comprehensive engine.

Enhancing USP's
Another great feature on gearshop is the home page Jquery sliders, and the amount of control Gearshop have to change USP's on the home page. The aim for us was to develop a CMS that allowed their team even more opportunities to create unique selling hooks, all of which are 100% controlled and operated via the CMS. The technology not only looks great, it also maximises Google SEO while minimising image size and page load making it 100% Google Friendly. 

Advanced product filtering
Another great feature on gearshop is the product filtering system which has been developed to give gearshop's administration team 100% control via the CMS.  The filtering possibilities are impressive allowing the owners to create a number of filtering options.  This function has proved to be a success not only for Gearshop but for any business looking to sell inventory levels in the thousands or millions.

Along the way we redesigned the Gearshop logo so that it would work equally well both online and offline.

The result is a site that generates results for the business online, functions superbly, matches the branding philosophy and brand sentiments but at the same time offers great functionality for customers who in the past may have been more inclined to shop in-store.
